History

Spinnerets processing machine back in 1931, when the Kasahara Laboratory was first established. Everything for the processing machinery was handmade as we had no access to spinneret-related data in those days. First original processing machine for spinnerets in Japan.

Main factory moved and newly established at Shinoharadai, Nada-ku, Kobe in 1970 to expand operations. The new facility provided a springboard to meet global challenges.

  • Started as a watch repair workshop taking the advantage of precision parts processing technology.
  • 1930 Mar.
  • First president the late Jun Kasahara aims at domestic manufacture of the spinnerets for production of viscose rayon.
  • 1931 Oct.
  • Established the Kasahara Laboratory.
  • 1932 Apr.
  • Initiated business with domestic rayon fabrication companies.
  • 1940 Jun.
  • Established the Nippon Nozzle Co., Ltd.
  • 1950 Sep.
  • Established main factory at Nakago-cho, Nada-ku, Kobe.
  • 1950 Dec.
  • Established No. 2 factory at Izumiohtsu, Osaka-fu.
  • 1956 Apr.
  • New factory for synthetic fiber spinneret was added to the main factory.
  • 1970 Mar.
  • Main factory was moved and established in Shinoharadai, Nada-ku, Kobe.
  • 1975 Jul.
  • Subsidiary companies were established; three in Japan, one in South Carolina, USA.
  • 1978 Oct.
  • Hiroshi Kasahara was installed as the second president.
  • 1984 Feb.
  • Business & Sales Division was moved to Sannomiya, Kobe, detached from the main factories.
  • 1988 Aug.
  • Main factories and Business & Sales Division were moved and established in the Kobe High-Tech Park.
  • 1993 Feb.
  • Yoshikazu Kasahara was installed as the third president.
  • 2008Apr.
  • Nakamura Choko 's acquisition of Nippon Nozzle
